Man on the MOON!!!!

Landing on the moon

Apollo 11 was the first ever mission to the Moon. It was launched on 22 July 1969. Neil Armstrong became the first man to ever walk on the moon. Buzz Aldrin also came with him. Michael Collins was in a seperate module in orbit over the Moon. Upon landing, Neil proclaimed: "That's one small step for [a] man, one Giant leap for mankind." Astronaut, Neil Armstrong was going to be on the Apollo 13 mission but broke his leg 2 days before Apollo 13 launched.

Controversy Edit

Many people believe that the step on the moon was a conspiracy. An example evidence is that in the picture, the flag looks like it is moving. NASA has denied any such thing. In reality, the reasons the flag looks like that are that one: Their is little gravity on the moon, so it will stand up, and two: Their was a frame built inside of the flag to hold it up. Nobody would want a drooping flag!

Trivia Edit

  • It was used guiding the first team on the moon to space.
